Okome has quickly become my daughter's favorite spot for sushi in Southside. The freshness and high quality of the ingredients are truly impressive. Impromptu Lunches are the best Lunches! Wow - @okomegalashiels First time visiting and definitely will be back! Ordered the Salt & Chilli Chips with Veggie platter of sushi & a lychee green tea! Incredible! The photo of the chips doesn't do it justice for the size, as I had already eaten half of them.. All in 16.15 worth every penny! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

I went there for sitting in and food was great and service was exceptionally nice. I got everything I ordered within 5 minutes, which was very quick. The chicken karage and miso soup was tasty and hot. I ordered a California maki and it came in just the right bite size and tasted great.. although I’m not a big fan of mayo on sushi. Salmon Sashimi was very fresh and professionally cut. Overall a great experience.
